No. Everything is stored in a local SQLite file on your computer. The AI runs on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks — zero download, zero setup. There is no server, no cloud sync, and no telemetry inside the desktop app.

The extension only activates on supported social media sites (LinkedIn, Discord, Facebook, Threads, Telegram, X/Twitter, Substack, Medium, Patreon). It injects a small 'Klipt it' button next to posts. When you click that button, it reads that single post's content and sends it to the desktop app via Chrome Native Messaging — a local channel that never touches the internet.

No. The content script only runs on specific social media domains listed in the extension manifest. It does not read, track, or monitor any other website you visit.
